For those of you that made it down to the shop on that beautiful spring afternoon back in May, we were all treated to a very special moment... an amazing, up-close set from one of Country Music's (and American music's for that matter) most important figures, Charlie Louvin. As one half of the Louvin Brothers in the 1950s, he has influenced folks ranging from The Everly brothers to Gram Parsons and the Flying Burrito brothers to Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams and countless others. We luckily captured an absolute top-notch recording of Charlie running through a dozen classics with plenty of chatting in between cuts. Charlie runs the gamut of conversation - from the importance of mothers in all our lives to Cheap Trick! No topical stone is left unturned!
