obscure....all packed in on 2 floors!

first floor is stocked with new releases & deep
back catalog on CD while our vinyl basement is
packed with top-notch used in all genres and all
the latest in-print as well as catalog vinyl….over
10,000 titles alone just on LP.

We stock nearly 400 magazines & fanzines including
monthlies & quarterlies like The Wire, Giant Robot,
Bitch, Big Takeover & Mojo to once a year publications
like Chunklet, Ugly Things or 78 Quarterly. We also
carry a wide variety of related culture magazines from
Scoot & Barracuda, art mags like Juxtapoz &
Raw Vision, plus other periodicals such as Adbusters,
McSweeneys, Tokion, Burn Collector, WYWS, Bust, Stay
Free, Comet Bus and rotating selection of import &
domestic graf mags and literally 100's of others.

addition, we also stock an ever rotating selection
of kubricks, be@rbricks, limited edition Japanese & Western vinyl
figures from such designers as Michael Lau, Dalek, Kaws,
Brothersfree and many others. You can visit our online
listing, Doodie Free, for an overview of much of the
music & culturally related ephemera we stock,
whether it be graffiti or graphic design journals,
DVDs, books and limited edition items.
We also stock a constantly growing selection of new
& used DVD & video... from live concerts to
cult films & documentaries and our book selection
carries a wide variety of subjects from musical biographies
& histories, graffiti & graphic arts to current
affairs and even some fiction.

Throughout
the store, we feature artwork from folk artists such
as Howard Finster, Jimmy Sudduth, New Orleans' own
Charles Gilliam & Bruce Bryce to musicians such
as Daniel Johnston, Billy Childish, Jon Langford, Tim
Kerr, Delta Blues legend James “Son” Thomas
and locals like Bob Beemon, local graf artists and
others.
We also throw the occasional in-store & have been
honored to host such folks as Frank Black, Jurassic
5, Sleater Kinney, Forget Cassettes, The Black Keys,
Apples In Stereo, John Doe of X, The Stills, Found Magazine,
Deke Dickerson , Kim Lenz, Saul Williams, Brant Bjork,
plus plenty of local & regional folks like The Ass
Ponys, Greenhornes, Howlin' Maggie, Jake Speed and Readymaid
as well as signings with graffiti artists like ESPO,
Dalek, Skribe, Ed Templeton many more.
